Belfast: Accounting technician - EUjobs - 07-30-2008

Our client is an expanding Practice based in South Belfast. This medium sized firm carries out routine accountancy and taxation work. Most of our clients are based in Ireland but the firm does have a small number of clients throughout Europe and beyond.
The person:
You must be currently working towards an accountancy qualification and be willing to become a qualified accountant within practice.
Must have at least two years experience working within an accountancy practice
Be very hands on approach with a willing to achieve and be flexible.
Have experience within audits and taxation.
The Role:
This entails all preparation work of accounts and dealing with all queries accordingly.
Assisting in external audits of all clients
You will be in constant use of all VAT and taxation and will report daily to main accountant and partners.
You must be willing to complete accountancy qualifications and be willing to progress.
This role will maintain a lot of training and support and salary will reflect on your own personal progression and experience.
