Cambridge: Tutor for child with autism - EUjobs - 08-02-2008

We are looking for a new member of our team of tutors working with our 4 1/2 yr old son who has autism. We have been running a home-based ABA (Applied Behavioural Analysis) programme for the last 2 yrs. Previous experience is not essential as full training will be provided. You will need your own transport. You would be required to work 2-3 afternoons (3 1/2 hrs each) per week. You would also be required to attend a monthly training day for the whole team.
Applicants should be reliable, resourceful, enjoy working as part of a team and keen to learn a new skill. This is a rewarding job for anyone who enjoys the challenge and satisfaction of helping a young child learn and develop.
