Belfast: Assistant management accountant interviewing now 25 - EUjobs - 08-02-2008
This new role is with a progressive and growing group of companies operating throughout Ireland. With a total of 7 companies in the group you will be working with some of the best known brand names in retail. They are a young and dynamic group who have went from strength to strength in recent years and now employ over 200 staff.
As the second Assistant Accountant, you will report directly to the Financial Controller and Managing Director. Within the Finance Department you will work within a team of 3 accountants with 15 accounting administration staff to assist.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Production of monthly management accounts
- Consolidation of management accounts
- Analysis of accounts and subsequent recommendations for business change
- Bank reconciliations
- VAT returns
You will ideally be a Part Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with extensive experience of the production of monthly management accounts. You must be driven and enthusiastic with a very "hands on" approach to work in this fast paced, busy Group.
