Zenit is currently #6 (after 19 games) in the Russian Premier League. Some of Zenit's players might be a bit tired after EURO 2008 (where Russia had gotten to the semifinal). MU is probably more fresh at the moment. Moreover, I think MU has more excellent players than Zenit.
So, I am inclined to think that MU wins, but it will be a very close match.

Zenit beat Rangers in the UEFA cup final and the match, I believe, was in Manchester, England.
MU beat Chelsea in the Champions League final and the match was in Moscow. Then about 40 or 50 thousand British (MU and Chelsea) fans arrived in Moscow and "flooded" the Russian capital's streets.
I watched both of these matches.
I am going to watch MU vs Zenit. The match is taking place in Monaco.

Yes ,Peter you're wright. MU was without Cristiano, Hargrivs, Giggs. But MU's motivation was on very low level...Although, MU shouldn't depend only on Ronaldo...
