European morals! - Nigel - 08-19-2009 I’ve been paying more attention to the developments in Europe since I lost my job a year ago (no wonder - it’s crisis time). Now I try to keep an eye on everything related to my taxes. Who wants to pay extra money? But I think we’ll have to, because Sweden seems to be quite persistent in investing EU money in its Eastern Partnership Initiative. It wouldn’t matter after all, but actually I have no intention to help such…inhuman beings as, for instance, Mr. Lukashenko in Belarus. (video . google . com / videoplay ? docid = -3228285445532705801 ) In fact, little has changed since the video was shot although he promised to take a turn for the better! (charter97 . org / en / news / 2009 / 8 / 4 / 20693 / ) (opendemocracy . net / article / email / lukashenko-plays-with-europe ) It’s a no-brainer that dealing with that tyrant is not only disrespectful to us and to our values but actually it’s a disgrace for democratic Europe! I never thought that here, in Europe, we could abase ourselves so far!! Re: European morals! - Faw_Peter - 08-19-2009 Here we could! It's easy to judge, to talk, but I am sure that anyone more than that does not do. all look and talk... :banghead Re: European morals! - hellodear - 08-24-2009 I think nobody helps us better then we can. I wish you to find new job and not to accuse weak countries in your problems ;( Re: European morals! - Benn - 08-24-2009 hellodear Wrote:I think nobody helps us better then we can.
