If Georgia and Ukraine join NATO, the WWIII is inevitable!

But they must protect their integrity somehow. 8-)

The world can't risk its security only because two states want to defend their integrity. Millions may die of that.

So you might sacrifice your country for free then, yes?

Re: Russophobia and the "Testament" of Peter the Great - M.Helen - 08-27-2008

let them protect their integrity but do not imply the entire world here. Generally, I don't think USA should interfere here. It's not its territory.

Hey, they are still under Russian boot. For God sake, these countries deserve to be free... :-(

Re: Russophobia and the "Testament" of Peter the Great - Steven - 08-28-2008

how do you suggest to help them? I believe neither you nor your children would like to fight for their independence, right?

Yes, Steven you're right, maybe my family are satisfied about the glamorous life, here, in the European Empire.

There are a lot of Russians and pro-Russia citizens, also.

Remember the Germany's position few months ago at Bucharest Summit of NATO. They said NO to Georgia and Ukraine, because they need cheap energy from Russia and after that, you can see the result....

Russia isn't weak at all.... :nonnon

Re: Russophobia and the "Testament" of Peter the Great - Steven - 08-28-2008

Was that the reason they said "no" to Georgia and Ukraine? How did they motivate the answer?

Re: Russophobia and the "Testament" of Peter the Great - Karl.in.eu - 08-30-2008

They usually don’t leave to much space for comments, especially in tense situations.

"After all, Schröder heads up the advisory board of the Gazprom subsidiary currently building the Baltic Sea gas pipeline from Russia to Germany."

Thank you Gaspar. Now I see what the deal here is, and I think everybody already understood that all this is a game of interests. Germany was approaching the new country candidates with such a negative attitude because of its energy plans, part of which are shared by Russia, or better, vice-versa.

It certainly is a game. Politics, as a whole, is a scene. You should act like an actor here, by your own script.
