How do I look for an English teaching job in France? - Hathol - 01-25-2011 I am Zimbabwean and recently moved to France (from Zim). My wife is French. I am looking for a job, particularly EFL jobs in Strasbourg or the surroundings areas (I am looking for any kind of contract, something to get me going really) I have a social sciences educational background and have entry level experience in adult education. Is there anybody that has any idea where I should first look for these kind of jobs. My french is not so fluent but functional... How best can I narrow my job hunt. Re: How do I look for an English teaching job in France? - Josie - 01-25-2011 You are kidding... Who wanna learn english in France from a zimbabwean? Try to get a realistic physical work job, before you crow to death, or become entirely dependent on social services and drugs. Re: How do I look for an English teaching job in France? - Grishnakh - 01-25-2011 Teaching in France is mainly business English and this means teaching telephone skills, business practice and so on. You will also need a degree and a TEFL Certiticate which are the minimum qualifications for teaching there. |
