I now live in Greece, but recently used to live in Romania (use to change often the country to live in).
I also think Kosovo is a part of Serbia. But, still, can't say that firmly, 'cause I'm not well informed on this issue.

Republic of Srpska is not a question made with this `war`(S. Osetia), if you know things...you should know that in Bosnia and Herzegovina was a war 1992-1995.
In that war, America suported `antiserb` side....

There was levyed a `Dayton agreement`, and Republic of Srpska stayed join in Bosnia and Herzegovina, reluctantly Serbs in this `country`...

is now something clearly? Confuseduper

hmmm, so it seems to cover about 50% of the entire territory. That's a quite big surface.

So? Why should they? Do you know any nation which lives entirely only in one country and nowhere else?

Hungarians live in Vojvodina, do you want them and their territory to join Hungary? Smile In that way, Serbia would be even smaller than today...

Or are just suggesting to those Bosnian Serbs not living in Republika Srpska to move to Republika Srpska? That way, there will be nobody left in their villages. But maybe they like their actual villages? Smile

I`m telling, there was a war in Bosnia, Serbs had their own (twice bigger than this showed in upper post) territory, where they were majority...
The territoryes of Republic of Srpska and Republic Srpska Krajina (RSK).

Actions named `storm`, and `flash` Croats and muslims, helped with America, cleaned RSK from Serbs, thousands of people were killed, over 500.000 people were throwed out... some of them went to Serbia, and some to Republic of Srpska...

Look this, refugees running in front of Croatian army.

I mean: is it such bad if all Serbs do not live in ”Serb” states, like Serbia or Republika Srpska? Other nations manage to live in “foreign” states, so do Hungarians in Serbia, Romania and Slovakia. Sometimes you must fight a bit (in politics, not with arms) for your linguistical and cultural rights, but you accept it, you do not want your “motherland” to expand because of that. Can’t Serbs both in Muslim/Croat parts of Bosnia-Herzegovina and Kosovo accept this?

(I am partly referring to Milosevic’s theses, in which he stated that all Serbs should live in one country, Great Serbia… These speeches were the source of all evil in ex-Yugoslavia during the 1990's.)

I think people shall be permitted to stay in their villages, they certainly love to live there Smile They shall have the right to live there in peace, be it in whatever is the country’s name. This should not necessarily require “independence” of their region versus the bigger entity, but if it does (due to too much hostility), make a referendum with all inhabitants, possibly with also those who have sometimes been chased away, and look at the results.

I also think the “cleaning” of Krajina was an evil thing. I have even travelled through Krajina from Rijeka to Plitvicke Jezera and seen some horrible villages with a lot of destroyed houses.

But for Croats, the most important was to get away from Yugoslavia, where Milosevic had too much influence and wanted a Great Serbia. They became afraid because independence of Krajina would perhaps have resulted in it joining Great Serbia? Croats are also very nationalistic… like you Serbs. With a less nationalistic Croatian government, maybe good autonomy of Krajina would not have been impossible?

This said, also Serbs bombed e.g. Vukovar and Osijek very heavily in their war against Croatia. Sad Perhaps this made Croats act heavily against Krajina?

And… what is your opinion about the genocide of Muslims in Srebrenica by Ratko Mladic?

And remember Ante Gotovina is caught now. But where is Mladic??
