Should a man pay for the dinner if he was invited by a girl?
#26
This is precisely why I was taught not to accept gifts from a strange man!!! He will expect something in return! And he will get cross when he doesn't get it!

M.Helen's right, there are some professional 'gold-diggers' in the world - they make so much money from men's gifts that they dont need to work!

Peter, you are right that a girl might worry that you are trying to get her drunk. But if you let her drink slowly it should be OK :-) My friends and I used to have a high tolerance to alcohol, so we would get less drunk than the boys trying to impress us, and then laughed at them :haha

I don't understand what commitment are you talking about? If the girls was the one who made the step modernization.
If a kid asks where rain comes from, I think a cute thing to tell him is "God is crying." And if he asks why God is crying, another cute thing to tell him is "Probably because of something you did."

In Russia women and men have an equal rights, but girls are girls, man have to protect and care about his chosen one. To pay in restaurant is a situation, when you can show your ability and wish to care about her, one step closer  It doesn't connect with families, family has a common budget.

I am confident that, if a man showed the best he can during the date, the one who is going to pay the bill is not important at all. This is the last thing a girl cares about if she spent an entertaining evening with you.

yes Steven, important are the people you are surrounded by and not the money or place you are in... at least this is what I'm trying to believe in. At over-30 age, single women will usually look not for money, but for "drive"

I think he should not pay because if a girl made such an invitation she should be responsible for the fact that she will pay, besides if you will accept to pay the order she may be upset about that. It may cause a big problem between both of you, so you should just relax and taste the food you want and be happy that it will not be you who will pay for all. Confuseduper
