JOB TITLE
Internet Sales Executive
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To sell advertising on to both new and existing customers, ensuring maximum growth and the achievement of sales targets.
FUNCTIONAL RELATIONSHIP
Internet Sales Manager, Sales Director, other Internet sales staff and various Business Service Centre Departments.
CONTACTS WITH:
New and existing customers.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
* To plan workload effectively to ensure contact is made with all prospective customers and advertiser accounts within their area/classification.
* To sell the correct advertising package based on the customer's needs.
* To achieve set standards of revenue, accounts and adverts for prospect accounts and ensure the free entry entitlement is given.
* To achieve weekly and monthly targets.
* To submit on time accurate sales documentation and reports.
* To attend and participate in sales meetings and training courses when requested.
* To follow the Internet Sales Operating Plan.
* Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction and customer care through Thomson Values
* Assist with other departmental routines and practices as required.
PERSONAL ACTIVITIES (Chairing meetings, etc.)
To assist Internet Sales Manager at team meetings and training courses as requested.
