Shopping in big city
#1
The most "loaded" period in New York is the period between the Thanks giving day and Christmas. Beside the opportunity of taking a look the decorated tree in Rockefeller Centre, many come to New York simply for shopping.

About 11 million people visited New York the last year, in the period between October and December. Despite the current financial crisis, this year Manhattan won't miss the millions of tourists hastening across its streets.
It's natural, because such giant shop as Macy's, for example, are massive magnets for tourists. Moreover, during this period, almost every shop will offer considerable discounts for its products.

Do you mean people from other US states?

No, a tourist means people of other nationalities than American. If you live in Rome and your friends come to visit you from Milan, do you call them tourists? :-P

Take a look at this wealth. I can't imagine the amount of money invested in this region. One building should value over tens of millions...

Rockefellers are the biggest legal thieves in the world, so it's not a problem for them to create best attractive conditions for peoples at Christmas. These pictures are so unreal, I mean I have never seen anything like this in real life.
If a kid asks where rain comes from, I think a cute thing to tell him is "God is crying." And if he asks why God is crying, another cute thing to tell him is "Probably because of something you did."

I enjoy shopping, especially in a big city. There you can find everything that you wish, a wide variety of things. That's amazing!I haven't been yet in London and Paris, but I enjoyed shopping in Rome. It has some spectacular shops, that everyone at least once must visit!

No Andrew I don’t think they are tourist, they are visitors, they came to do something and live after, some of them do it everyday! Have business, for shopping, to visit a friend etc…….. About shopping I think if it’s not necessary, for e.g. to buy something what you need, it’s a waste of time. Sorry girls! That’s the true!

Yes new york is one of the best city for shopping. The 43,000-square-foot behemoth is home to a full line of eighteen-inch historical dolls (dressed in period clothes), a cafe, a bookstore, and a theater that brings the dolls’ characters to life.
