This thread is exclusively dedicated to people who indeed strive for getting rich. Some say that wealth requires patience and very long period of times. And what if we'll try to break stereotypes and prove it wrong.

Getting rich in one-two hours is impossible, unless you win a lottery/jackpot or find a case full with money. I believe there are no similar schemes, and if there are, these are rather scams. Watch out.
If a kid asks where rain comes from, I think a cute thing to tell him is "God is crying." And if he asks why God is crying, another cute thing to tell him is "Probably because of something you did."

I've heard of certain financial pyramid. It's like - 25 people give you 1 dollar each, after which these 25 people will get 99 cents and you'll get 1 cent from others, then they get 98 cents, you get 2 cents etc.
But the pyramid doesn't work. It stops working at 2nd or 3rd stage when nobody agrees to give you this money.

You can get rich by selling ebooks in the internet about "How to get rich". Just state your ideas there, the rest of things is the law's part. It will protect you, because no book can guarantee 100% of functionality.

You know, my belief is that the money you earn quickly, regardless of their amount, will vanish the same quick way as they appear, since wealth needs effort, true effort.

Steven, what can you say then about lucky children born in wealthy families? Did they spent much effort for having what they have? No. But they start to run profitable businesses that need only a few months to completely get rich, because their parents can offer them money for investment.

we can't say it's a rule. I know many rich men, whose sons are complete idiots that waste money on the right and on the left. Fathers give them money, and when they are run out of it, they receive it again and again. Rich people's children are usually lazy and incompetent, since they don't know what real effort represents.

Well Benn, it does not regard everybody. I agree that you don't need much brains to be rich if your father is a millionaire. But, becoming wealthy indeed is the work of not one generation. Usually it takes two or three generations in row to build wealth of a family.

it's a classical way of thinking. Actually there is no time now for developing several-generation wealth. Things are so unstable in the matter of economy, politics, society, environment. You won't even start to launch something, when it'll already be unprofitable.

You can make good money by lending it to people who can't normally receive credits in banks because of they are bad credits risks. Just make sure you check the background of those people so that you don't get fooled

If you hear or see phrases like "How to make 200,000 dollars from 5 dollars in only 30 days" be sure it's a scam. These phrases are very much attractive from psychological point of view, but, if being logical and reasonable, it's impossible. Don't get fooled.

Top management of Corporations are interested in quick fix profits or stock options. Middle management has been taken out of the loop and used as the slaves of the the CEO"S and top Stockholders. There is no planning, forecasting, budgeting, accountability. Run the companies by the seat of there pants and hope that no one in the short term will have a better way of doing things in offering goods and services.

Top management is important if tough times occur. For example now, because of the crisis, top managers have to take important decisions to save the company, that could be merging/acquisition. Such decisions have to be taken by competent people, it needs lots of analysis from all points of view.

I've been reading today about many get-rich-quick schemes. All of them are scams, as I understood. These are plain financial pyramids the main product of which are usually a book that tells you how to get rich.

Those who are often caught by these scams are lonely people. Moreover, if they are poor, then any opportunity to get rich quickly creates inside the head a sort of gold rush, and they lost their mind.
