How to be patient?
#1
I rather often lose patience and it worries me. Many times I tried to "educate" myself, every time I say :Be patient! But it doesn't work. I am too irritated and hot-minded. What to do?

That's simple. Don't pay much attention on those who are around you, and don't take things personally. Remember there are persons who first speak and then think about what they have spoken, and feel regret. To err is human, to forgive is divine. Smile

Patience is an asset and many people have a very big problem with how to develop patience. Patience is not something that comes to all of us overnight, we need to work on it there are many books and sites are available on internet, where you can meet various peoples andmotivational speakers from different industries, who might helps you to regain you patience. Patience has to be taught, and through this teaching it must also be practiced.

Yeah, I know, I try to calm down when I'm angry, and now I try not to pay much attention on what's going on around, I mean, if sth bad has happened - it has already, and things cannot be changed. What is in our power, is to improve what we have.
And you emily9a, do you lose sometimes patience? and how you cope with this?

How to be patient? Just relax, things don't depend on you. When you feel anger, think about what would happen if you say not a right thing, you will regret for sure, and afterwards will try to hush up your deeds and word.
So, it's better to keep silent and may be to remain alone for some time.

Overcome bouts of impatience. In the long run, developing patience requires a change in your attitude about life, but you can immediately make progress by learning to relax whenever you feel impatient. Take a few deep breaths and just try to clear your mind. Concentrate on breathing and you'll be able to get your bearings.

A good remedy for it would be while waiting someone you should focus on different things or different people around you, and you will see how the time will pass quickly. Another remedy is to set your clock with 5 minutes forward, for that when you will arrive at the meeting point the person will be already there.
