My wife and I wanna go for a 7day trip to Switzerland in August. Usually we don't like to visit museums, theaters bla bla bla... we just wanna enjoy the staying. Any advices what city we should choose?
if you want that, you can stop in Basel. Very nice and clean city. Also it has a lot of tennis stadiums (place of birth of Roger Federer), so if you like it go ahead.

Many tourists consider Lucerne and its mountainous one of Switzerland's most beautiful places to visit. Its lakeside setting is among the best in Switzerland and views of the lakes can be found from many restaurants. Your job is to take advantage.
If you like crowdy places you should visit Geneve. Also, since this summer is going to be hot, Geneva is a good place to stay at because it's in the North and the climate is a little bit colder.

Lugano is a city in the south of Switzerland (Italian-speaking canton). Due to its hot summers, the city has attracted in the past years a lot of celebrities. sportsmen etc.The city was given the nickname of the "Monte Carlo of Switzerland".
If a kid asks where rain comes from, I think a cute thing to tell him is "God is crying." And if he asks why God is crying, another cute thing to tell him is "Probably because of something you did."
Look at this city, Locarno, it won't leave you any doubts about where to go. It's not big, about 15000 people. You can speak Italian there, so it's comfortable.

Lugano - a very good city for tourists.
Places to visit:
* Lake Lugano
* Pedal boats
* St. Lawrence Cathedral (9th and 15th century)
* St. Mary of the Angels Church (16th century) with the fresco of the Christ's Passion from Bernardino Luini
* Parco civico - Villa Ciani
* Monte San Salvatore
* Monte Brè
* Monte Generoso
* Piazza della Riforma
* Villa Favorita
Aarberg
Aarberg lies 20 kilometers from Bern above the Aar River. With an area of 7.93 km².
I would recommend this city if you don't like crowds. It's a very small one and its population is 3,200 people only!
