Only improvements we'll probably see is the brand new engine enhancing shadows, reflections, colors, particle effects and Phantasy Star Online 2 Meseta projecting them against the outfits. You can have a look how exactly implementing better shadows and colours can enhance older equipment by assessing ReShade screenshots. Collabs that have experienced their cosmetics removed nevertheless have their resources exist on the game so those will probably still be accessible for jp players. The next step after Plains of Eidolon, to me, personally would have been Dragon's Dogma Online's open fields. I really don't know this type of mindset. Can you play these game because they are fun to playwith? Or would you play with them with the concept that it is only"worth it" if those 100s of hours are carried over like it is some type of investment? I read things on the web like this all the time and it is so strange to me. It is a brand new game which brings new experiences to be enjoyed. NG being declared doesn't somehow negate the fun of now playing PSO2. NG is supposed to come out in 2021, that could be over a year from now. That is so much time to relish PSO2.
Ummm we just got the game in NA some people didn't play JPN servers this whole time and now we are being told any progress we make from the version we just got will be for nothing if you want to play the new game. Some of us are also spending some money in this type of the game. They should have just never published this present version in NA and waited until 2021 with this one. I would have never even begun playing if I knew a brand new variant of a live service match was coming out. They seriously take one step forward and 2 steps back all of the time and it is frustrating. The entire life cycle for NA is just starting so that it doesn't make sense at all. What's the intention of this game? This is key details.
I mean, for a lot of us this game is no more than a fast log in, 5 minute every day, and then adapting idle till UQ, therefore this (maybe not ) new game will not really interfere with what some people are already doing lol I enjoy this game enough I will likely keep playing it even after NGS starts, particularly if they're intent on supporting it before 2022. Also the jury is still out on how cosmetics and other jump things will be managed outside of the vague statement. Makeup, high quality, and expansions are character bound but we don't know if they'll continue over, but if they do then it will not be a total waste of cash.
I am very excited for this update. I just don't enjoy our levels will be reset. For someone who just started this year with NA, like me, it actually hinders my desire to keep progressing my personality in the edition of PSO2 we have today. I don't mind leveling a new character and whatnot, but when we're keeping weapons and units we really need to PSO2 Meseta for sale learn how they will be carried over.
