Given the small quantities of material involved, they wouldn't get onto the scale at all. You'd need to include 0.001. Fireworks are an irrelevance.

KTDykes' answer is just ignorant. that is like saying 1 car doesn't cause enough pollution to matter.... what about 500,000,000 cars?

fireworks are totally silly... everyone acts like they care about the environment and then every year around 9pm, for a few weeks leading up to and after the fourth of july, (at least in long beach), we burn thousands of tons of gunpowder and sit there and marvel at the pretty lights. fireworks litter the ground, pollute water supplies, and are harmful to every living creature's health... an invention that pre-dates the american revolution.... they still build fireworks with gun-powder... it's a senseless tradition that continues despite the fact that they are 100% pure toxic pollution... fireworks should be outlawed. it actually pisses me off seeing the huge clouds of toxic pollution raining down on neighborhoods from coast to coast. for me it overshadows the beauty of the explosions. i like 4th of july parades, music, parties, etc., but fireworks are lame.... people need to wise up.
