Classroom is looking for an enthusiastic Humanities teacher to teach in a Pupil Referral Unit in South London in September. This is a long term position so the school are looking for someone who can commit to the position.
Previous experience is desirable however it is not essential as enthusiasm and a passion for teaching are often much more valuable.
The position will involve working with students in small groups of 6-8 pupils in a supportive environment which can often be more personal and yield even greater rewards than a mainstream setting.
The ideal teacher will have previous experience teaching humanities up to GCSE level, will be enthusiastic about the subject and able to inspire the students. The right kind of personality is very important in this role as the school need someone with good Classroom management skills but also a laid back manner. They do not want a teacher who will preach to the students but someone who is able to communicate with them and build relationships.
PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE A QUALIFIED TEACHER
