Tell me a place where I can have rest in summer. You see, I consider most places in the world a little dangerous, because of various reasons: starting from poisonous animals to attacks, wars etc. Summer is coming and I'm thinking where should I take a rest. Suggestions, anybody?
hey, brother, if it's a problem where to have rest, then I don't know what is not a problem! Try going to Greece, Turkey, Cyprus, you won't regret!
....and Dalmatia (Croatia and Montenegro) :haha
it depends on the amount you are to spend on your rest. You you have enough money you should go to Australia - sun, peace, water - perfect place
It depends where you live. If you're in Europe then Australia is a distant destination. I wonder if their budget is able to collect any profit from their tourist industry.
Australia is a wonderful place for resting. A big share of its budget comes from tourism.
It is not that a wonderful place to rest, it is just everybody goes there to see Kangaroos
Have you had your rest yet, Benn?
I love summer in the Alps: walking, cycling, visiting the lakes... It's a lot less crowded than visiting the coast, and not so hot
If you're into surfing (or getting very cold whilst swimming) here in the UK is good  though it's probably getting a bit late in the year...
If you want to find the dead line in your alcohol practice try to show your skils in our Siberian fest. May be you will be winner, but natives always win, I realy don't know why
. But if you are more traditional, so Cyprus is a nice place
Thank you Becka, I did have my resting. I visited Romania, the Black Sea. I just received a good price offer and agreed instantly. I should tell my rest was perfect. Romania proved to be a country that combines quality (in services) and beauties (of the nature). The only fact I didn't like is that the Romanians were not too friendly.

I guess I saw something similar in the movie "Charly's angels", in the beginning of the movie, when Drew Barrymore competed with a Siberian guy in this competition.
Aw, Benn, the Black Sea is one of those areas I have wanted to visit for years! I'm glad you had a good time
You know, a lot of historical films are shot in Romania because it looks more like medeival England than England does?! :haha

I have never heard of this!!! I am going to Oktoberfest tomorrow, but I think we must try this Siberian fest next year... Is it a beer festival? (can you make beer in Siberia?)

Hi Becka,
I wouldn't say Romania looks like medieval England, though I haven't been to England (especially the medieval one  ). The towns and areas on the shore of the Black Sea look quite modern, no signs of any old-fasioned things, not considering of course certain museums and old buildings.
As for Siberian fest. It is not connected with beer. Beer is not produced in Siberia. Instead, very hard drinks are drunk in this fest - like vodka or even stronger. The one who drinks more is the winner.
You may go on holiday to Saint-Petersburg, it's a wonderful city, with a lot of sights and landmarks. In fact, you can travel everywhere, just need some more money. For instance visit Paris, Rome or London.
