You will be responsible for managing all aspects of a client's IT infrastructure as well as being heavily involved in pre-sales activities. You will take ownership of particular clients and be responsible for maintaining and developing the relationship.
You will be technically proficient in the following:
* Mainstream Microsoft Server Technologies (SBS,2003, Exchange, ISA, Terminal Server) and their installation and configuration in a single server / multi server active directory environment.
* Windows XP / 2000/ Vista
* Remote Support using RDP or other similar method
* Centrally Administered Anti virus and Security products from Symantec and Trend Micro
* Experience of online backup and monitoring systems such as Attix5 and Hound-Dog
* You will have an excellent understanding of TCP/IP networking coupled with the ability to absorb new technologies quickly
Responsibilities to include:
* Owning & taking responsibility for the delivery of small to medium size projects
* Production of documentation to support implementation work
* Conducting business requirements, systems asset analysis and making recommendations based on findings
* Undertaking consultative engagements with customers
* Designing & facilitating workshops for customers
* Technical account manager on key accounts
In addition to your Microsoft/Cisco qualifications and technical expertise, you must have proven communication and customer service skills to perform the sales and account management part of your job.
