Nike Bling Out the KD 13,The NBA might not be on right now, but that shouldn’t stop you getting your fix of basketball kicks. This new Nike KD 13 is the most extravagant rendition of Kevin Durant’s signature sneaker so far.Covered in luxurious – borderline gaudy – graphics of gold chains and bright butterfly wings, stark black sections maximise the contrast, albeit briefly. The gold Swoosh, woven laces, and imposing silhouette take things to 100 at the drop of a hat.Of course, the KD 13 will kill it on-court too, thanks to its Zoom Air tech and sticky sole working in tandem with the high cut. Coming to Nike on May 17.
Star Wars and adidas are no strangers when it comes to collaboration, having released a bevy of more than successful sneaker silhouettes in the past. The silhouette is dressed in the same black, grey and bronze accents seen on the Rebel Alliance starfighter. To give it an extra design kick, the X-Wing’s mechanical blueprint details have been printed on both the heel counter and signature white BOOST midsole. Additionally co-branding is featured on the tongue tabs and insoles, while the symbol of the Jedi Order is also strewn about. Finally “The Force Will Be With You Always” is emblazoned on the heel tabs, finishing up the overall design of the collaborative sneaker.
