Honda will sell a new, improved and affordable gas-electric hybrid all over the world starting with 2009, underlining the Japanese automaker's tendency to "green" technology, the company president said.

I don't think that hybrids will last long enough. As soon as electric "Tesla motors" cars become popular all the rest will disappear.
Can you imagine all this clean air in the cities? :geek:
Can you imagine all these people in oil business unemployed Smile
You mentioned "Tesla motors". What exactly is that? A new Japanese car producer? I haven't heard about it :quoi
Tesla motors is a company whcih focuses on the production of high performance battery electric vehicles. The point is that it produces for the consumer and not for experiments. Its cars are affordable for common people.
they have a nice and interesting website: http://www.teslamotors.com/
Look at this Honda hybrid picture, taken by my brother at a car exposition in UK.
It's very nice. It reminds me Lamborgini Diablo.
This Honda is more available for common citizens. It looks like a family car, so if you are married and want to give joy to your family and, at the same time, not harm the environment then this car is for you.

It' is not a diablo car to me. It's actually innocent and ecologic.
The eye-catching design is to express its futuristic perspective not the aerodynamic enhancement. .
Look at this baby, it is made for sports, and at the same time is a gas-electric hybrid. Many consider that electric energy can develop high speed, this car proves the contrary.

What is this model called?
And can you tell me what its top speed is?
this is called Honda Small Hybrid Sports Concept (SHSC). I don't know its speed, but you can learn more about it here:

I wonder why such companies like Mercedes, Audi, BMW don't take any actions regarding this.
I think they are doing these actions, but keep them for the "Black days". Smile
