Undertaking project management duties and working within agreed budgets and timescales.
PURPOSE
To provide technical services support and supervision of project staff to meet business objectives.
To undertake the design of bridge structures, working as part of a team, managing graduate engineer and technician staff and taking direct responsibility for the delivery. Assisting in the management of projects.
Competencies / Personal Attributes
Able to lead and work cooperatively within a team.
Able to deal with unfamiliar problems and adapt previous knowledge, and knowledge of other members of team, to develop solutions.
Able to build positive relationships with other team members and identify and make best use of other team members' attributes.
Able to clearly present a point of view in a logical, understandable manner.
Keen to learn and progress by actively seeking further responsibility.
Confident.
Able to prioritise workload and actively work with managers to ensure that workload is deliverable. Able to build positive and open relationships with clients and be able to manage performance and delivery issues with clients.
