We are looking for an experienced, senior IT support engineer to join a small computer company that delivers outsourced support to clients in London and the Home Counties. Our office is base in Surrey and it is a requirement that you reside no further than 30 minutes journey from our offices in Sutton.
Applicants must have at least 3-4 years working experience within the business IT field, you will underpin this real world experience with a minimum accreditation equaling at least MCSE status. You will be fully capable of installing Windows Server 2000/2003 to domain level; you will have firsthand experience in designing Active Directory group policies, TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP in a Client Server environment. All applicants must be fully proficient with installing and supporting Microsoft Exchange Server 2000/2003 and troubleshooting Exchange installations and internet technologies including VPN. This role demands a confident engineer and you are required to have good hardware knowledge including SCSI, SATA,SAS and RAID configuration setups. Candidates must be disciplined and be able handle customer facing roles with professionalism and care and have a proven background in documenting work flow.
