Do you have a special recipe that you follow for maintaining your immune system in good condition? It's now closer to spring and our body is very weak and vulnerable to diseases. How do you protect yourself against them?
The immune system is a totally complex system. Maintaining it at high level requires much efforts. Don't think you can strengthen your immune system in short term. You have to permanently work upon your health and build a structure of healthy cells.
If you don't have the possibility to maintain it in a natural way. Just do it artificially by taking vitamins. Remember, your body needs vitamins regardless of whether they are natural or artificial. So, don't hesitate to go to a drug store and ask the pharmacist what he can recommend for you.
Everybody know that from the very childhood, one must inoculate themselves against different diseases. The more you catch colds and get sick, the more signs of weakness it leaves inside your body. So better prevent it.
Take contrast showers every morning: first open hot water and give stay under this water for 3 minutes, then change turn quickly cold water, and stay under it for 1-2 minutes.
cod-liver oil accompanied by vitamin C is the best way to raise your immune system. By lemon powder and mix it with water, then drink it. It's enough to do it once a week.
Sweet pepper helps the immune system prevent colds, asthma, bronchitis and breathing diseases. Certainly you can't eat it directly, you have to use it as ingredients in your food.
Avoid stresses. Stresses hinder your body to assimilate vitamins. So regardless of how many vitamins you consumes, they are useless as long as they are stressed.
Don't make savings for disregarding your health. Buy ecologically-clean fruits and vegetables. Use 2 or 3-layer water filters. Poor-quality water kills the immune system.
Train your body by making various water procedures. Thus, teach your body to be more resistant against cold. Running in the mornings at fresh air is great for the immune system.
avoid the following and you will increase your immune system:
- unhealthy way of life (smoking, alcohol, shortage of sleep)
- unhealthy food
- stress
- hard physical and emotional loads
- environment pollution
- permanent small infectious diseases which weaken the body.
Consume natural products, such as: garlic, чеснок, ginseng, licorice, red clover, tutsan, celandine, elecampane, hydratis, dandelion. Also you can consume artificial vitamins from drug stores, but they are less efficient.
I think sleep is an important factor in maintaing your immune system, also that your daily stress levels and the foods we eat should be rich in antioxidants.
In ancient times also honey, lemon and garlic were at times worth more than gold as they had good antioxidants.
Also forgot alcohol like red wine is good, i forget what it is called but the skin of the grapes is actually really good for us.

Also once were sick alcohol in general is good for killing things. Sailors used to drink rum when they were sick out at sea. The alcohol was used to kill bacteria and viruses.
I try to eat honey constantly, it helps me to reinforce my immune system. And, you know, it really works. I haven't been ill for almost 9 months. You should try this.

How do you strengthen your immune system in winter?
A child suffers, on average, 5 to 6 colds per year, one adult and 2 to 4 colds per year. What are the solutions and which foods you should eat during the winter, to ensure a strong immune system! Nutrition has a major role for our health and therefore should be appropriate for their age and permanently adjust to the caloric needs of the body. When winter comes, our body is more vulnerable due to low temperatures, and the habit of eating healthy is becoming more important.
The body comes in contact with external factors through the skin and gastrointestinal system. The nutritional intake should be adjusted taking into account the season where we are. It is proved that 70% of the body's immune system is located in the intestine. It is therefore obvious that by eating properly chosen, we can maintain and increase resistance to disease, including frequent infections during the winter. Probiotics should be consumed daily. "A balanced intestinal flora increases resistance to diseases and minimizes the consequences of antibiotic therapy, very often in this season. A weak bowel affects our lives. Intestine is colonized with bacteria in a few days after birth, and intestinal flora changes with age. Intestinal imbalance may even lead to weight gain.
What should we eat in winter?
According to specialist, nutrition along with a balanced lifestyle helps us to keep diseases away. Vitamins that support the immune system are:

Vitamin A: The recommended daily intake is 800 micrograms, you can find in carrots, liver, fish, egg, butter.
Minerals it needs the immune system are:
Zinc - 10 mg per day, you find in the seafood, pumpkin seeds, bread and whole grains;
Selenium - 55 micrograms / day. Main sources: nuts, bread, fish, meat, eggs.
Probiotic yoghurt such as those containing strain L House Imunitass, helps to strengthen your immune system and do better against pathogens that assail you in wintertime. The daily use helps to reduce the frequency of disease and to heal faster. Other sources of probiotics are: garlic, bananas, artichokes, onion, oats, kephir and pickles, the traditional, made from pickled with salt, not made with vinegar.
Varied and balanced diet is recommended in any season. Be friends with apples! They are traditional fruits and are sources of antioxidants and vitamins. Dairy products should not miss the daily menu because they provides high quality protein and are the main dietary sources of calcium.
Calcium absorption is conditioned by a sufficient intake of vitamin D. In the cold season, due to very low sun exposure, endogenous synthesis of vitamin D drops dramatically, so it takes a necessary daily dietary to intake the level of 5 micrograms. The main sources are fatty fish, liver, foods fortified with vitamin D, usually dairy products. Vitamin D has demonstrated the role in modulating the immune system. Eat whole-grain foods - are a source of fiber essential for a healthy digestive system, giving a feeling of fullness and helps maintain normal weight.
Eat as often fish, that is an important source of protein and omega-3 fatty acids, which reduce bad cholesterol. Replace fatty foods with low-fat ones. Cook healthy and delicious, boil or prepare meat and vegetables on grille.
The absence of dairy and red meat can cause deficiencies of calcium and iron minerals critical to health and balance of the body - shortcomings that must necessarily compensated. Broccoli and spinach are good sources of calcium, iron respectively, but heavier assimilated than milk or meat.
