Full Version: What is your educational motivation or goal that keeps you going?

At this level, studying is all motivational and up to myself as to when, how and if i will even do it.
Current students: what is your motivation and mind set that keeps you going?
Professors: how did you get through like 10 years of school without losing steam?
When/If I finish strongly I'll be making a 100 grand a year or more. That's how I keep my motivation.

Professors don't go to school for 10 years, they go for like 6, and spend the next 4 years or so doing research.
You have to love what you're doing. Take it from someone who took a different course back in college, then looking back now, wishing she should've done something else.
I just finished my associate's and going for my bachelor's

the motivation is that I HAVE to do it, or else be in a job that doesnt pay very well

I am not getting my degree to be rich, but you need to have a decent job now adays if you want to survive on your own
Keep telling yourself that without education you are nothing you are nobody.
