This is my situation. Single mom. Working 45 hrs per week. High stress professional job.

Preferably answers from someone in the same circumstances would be best. Please state your circumstances too.

How do you find the motivation to clean when you are so dead tired after working all day and barely have the energy to make dinner let alone do the dishes after?

How do you keep organized? Are you able to follow a schedule? What do you do when you get really behind and the tasks seem overwhelming?

Sometimes I feel like the only answer is to call in sick once a month just so I can keep my home in order. Help please!
I'm in the same boat...I just make sure that I spend 15 minutes doing something to improve my house...ie..start a load of laundry before I leave for work...put in dryer upon return home from work while cooking dinner and then after dinner after the dishes are done...take that load from the dryer and you're done!!! I personally like to fold right out of the dryer thus no HUGE piles of folding waiting for me. Above all get the kids to help...easier said than done I know..but every little hand helps.
My sister works 2 jobs because child support is not enough. She gets my niece to put her clothes in the hamper, and she uses her crockpot A LOT. She tosses in a load of clothes in the morning while getting ready for work and throws them in the dryer before leaving. My niece is 10 and she is responsible for loading the dishwasher (My sister puts the stuff in the high cupboards away). She keeps a garbage can in her bathroom and I gave her the toilet brushes for her bathroom that has the soap canister on them (Just squeeze the trigger for foam) and swishes out the toilets and keeps sanitizing wipes under each sink for quick clean-ups.
