Well established late night venue needs a Freelance Press Officer.
Job includes:
* Press listings weekly // monthly
* Answering journalists' enquiries;
* Occasionally writing press releases and editorials;
* Monitoring the media and keeping up to date with pertinent current affairs
The ideal candidate should have some type of relevant qualification ( or be in the process of getting some type of relevant qualification ) and have *good links to the press and media*.
Will be able to work from home but still communicate with the Promotions Manager and be a naturally lateral thinker. Well organised and very deadline orientainted.
Must have a passion for the job in hand and the night life of London.
THIS IS IMPORTANT:
We need someone who is already in the industry, already doing this for a living, already has good contacts and would just like some extra work that fits in with their schedule. Possibly someone who is doing club reviews for various mags and would just like some more money for not that much extra work. This is not to "gain experience" rather augment your current field.
Flat rate plus bonuses for featured work.
