To Every one who says there was a genoced on ossetians from gerogian side, i advice to look some information in the internet about Georgian ethnik compostion. U will find that i this small country are living a lot of ethnic groups.If we ar fascist, what do u think are the people of (other etyhnic gruops) mazochists?! And if the thing was only to defened ossetians, why are russians "peace-keepers" (if this word can be used about russians invasiosors) still robbering georgian cities far away from conflict zone?! they are even taking toilet-seats and air coditioners fron the houses of civilians!

Vityaz, there's a lot of ossetians and Georgians flying fron the conflict zone (and not only) to the capital, and they are telling the same terrible thing about russians too.so youre words doesn't proove anything!!!The fact is that hisroty knows a lot of facts of genocide and starting wars fron russian side, and besides Russia has more reasons and resources for war!!! who wil start the war if he knows that he's can't win!!! and besdies, on the fisrt day the conflict begun russians have moved a lot of troops and soldiers on oure territory,if they weren;t prepaired for the war it would be imposible!!! They had their tropps ready on the north from georgia.

Russia did not need it as its interests lay in Asia not in Caucasus that time besides Georgia and Russia did not have common border at that time. So Russia had to conquer Caucasus....Interesting fact, when Georgia joined Russian Empire, there remained only 60 000 georgians there, 5 years later about 1 000 000!!!!

fisrtly:when gerogia signed to be a part of them, georgians were 600 000 not 60 000.

Georgia is a small country so in middle ages it was quite normal for a country like georgia to look for help from big neigbours, than we choosed russia, because it was othodox like georgia!!!And that's the point actually, Russia can't acceprt the fact that Georgia and other teritories who was under the russian ampire doesn't any longer belong to them!It's thwenty first century, neither Turks nor Iran or Arabs fight against Georgia any ore, ony Russia is stuck in 18th century!!! Russia shoul better think about their ecenomic or people straving and drinking all the day in their country, rather then occupye sovereign countries in the 21st century!

In Chechnia russian army faught terrorists. the time shows that the actions were right, rememmber invasion of terrorists to Dahestan etc. But it is too commonplace. Can you remember another example?

The same situation is with South Ossetia nowadays.... Only Georgia with the USA cry that Russia is an invader and so on but I don't hear such cries from South Ossetia or Abhazia, why??? They feel in safe, no one threatens them. The real initiator of this tragedy is Saakashvili and his sponsor the USA, georgian people is not guilty....
