Newrussianintown you're right. A country is not a country if it lets its regions be taken away bite by bite, after nothing remains. Maintaining its borders is a country's virtue and once the border is lost, there's no order within the state anymore.

They live much better in these countries to claim independence! Are not inferior, they have the same rights as other citizens and in addition they are strange in that country, because France, UK, and other countries have long centuries these territories.

Those people are lost a little bit...they already forgot what they are searching and for what they fought...And, what will they do with that independence if 'till now lived under Russia? They don't know how to manage with it(at least this is my opinion)

A very big problem with the former Soviet Bloc mentality is that they made such a large focus on being "anti"-Fasicist. Their propaganda was so intensive that those citizens still have difficulties understanding that Soviet history is based upon Fasicsm and that Stalin was one of the worst Fascists in history. Real-life Soviet style Communism was saturated with Fascist organization so that most modern Communists (in the east) have difficulties finding the way to Marxism without conducting themselves by Stalinistic methods. Wrong. Soviet union was based on idead that communism is supreme way of development for mankind, not on idea that Russian people is supreme race. In fact Stalin was georgian. Communism is about social strugle not racial. Facism is hard to imagine in Russia (and in USSR too) becouse it consists of many different peoples. Just look how many ethnic groups it has. And it is natural for country that suffered haviest loses in ww2 to be more anti-Fascist than others. Could you ever see a skinnhead in Soviet union? Now with "democracy" it isnt hard.
