Hospitality - U.K. convention 25 July. - HafizAzizRafiq - 07-21-2008 Peace be upon you! A form of politeness is hospitality. It is mentioned in holy Quran. It has been the custom of prophets of God. It is a means to develop mutual love and bring people closer to the message of God. The holy Prophet ( peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was the excellent model for honouring the guests. On occasions when people visited him he would personally take care of their resting area, food and other needs. He trained his companions in these moarls. They self sacrificed to provide for guests of God. In order to revive faith and to bring man closer to God in this era, the advent of the Promised Messiah ( on whom peace) took place. He was ardent devotee of blessed holy prophet. He was promised by God: I shall carry your message to the ends of world. The task that he was entrusted with was accomplished by him and after him by his caliphs. It is only Allah who change hearts. He was also promised: Your helpers will come from every distant track. He initiated annual gatherings for enhancements of spirituality and religion. He started a public-kitchen for his guests who visited him for the sake of God. This kitchen is spreading. In annual spitritual gatherings and whereever his caliph visits in world, now, special arrangements for hospitality and courtesy are made by volunteers for incoming guests. Volunteers in all countires of all social standing pay duties with great fervour. They serve guests of Allah. Since caliph is in London, community there is very trained and particular is discharging their volunteer duties with sincerety and dedication. Such operations impress visitors from outside of community. From 25 July annual convention will start in U.K. ( w.alislam.org ) Heart of a guest is like a fragile mirror. Voluteers are well advised for service with sacrifice. Re: Hospitality - U.K. convention 25 July. - Faw_Peter - 07-22-2008 What will that convention mean? What are its goals? Re: Hospitality - U.K. convention 25 July. - HafizAzizRafiq - 07-22-2008 peace! The primary purpose of this Convention is to enable every sincere individual to personally experience religious benefits; They may enhance their knowledge and due to their being blessed and enabled by Allah, The Exalted- their perception [ of Allah ] may progress. Among its secondary benefits is that this congregational meeting together will promote mutual introduction among all brothers, and it will strengthen the fraternal ties within this Community. <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.jalsasalana.org/objectives.html">http://www.jalsasalana.org/objectives.html</a><!-- m --> Re: Hospitality - U.K. convention 25 July. - Steven - 07-22-2008 how can an individual experience religious benefits in a practical manner? I think it's impossible. You can't just pray and instantly have the result. It is all about the belief Re: Hospitality - U.K. convention 25 July. - HafizAzizRafiq - 07-23-2008 Peace! Some benefits of belief in practical manner e.g, = > whosoever refuses to be led by those who transgress, and believes in Allah, has surely grasped a strong handle which knows no breaking. And Allah is All-Hearing. All-Knowing..... Allah is the Friend of those who believe; He brings them out of all kinds of darkness into light....( chapter 2, verses 257-8 some parts) = > Nay, whosoever submits himself completely to Allah and he is the doer of good, shall have his reward from his Lord. No fear shall come on them nor shall they grieve. (2:113) = > Say, 'Who has forbidden the adornment of Allah which He has produced for His servants and the good things of His providing?' Say, 'They are for the believers in the present life and will be exclusively for them on the Day of Resurrection.' Thus do We explain the Signs for a people who have knowledge. (7:33) = > And give glad tidings to those who believe and do good works, that for them are gardens beneath which flow streams. Whenever they are given a portion of fruit therefrom, they will say, 'This is what was given us before,' and gifts mutually resembling shall be brought to them. And they will have therein pure mates, and therein will they abide. (2:26) Quran section w.alislam.org When individual accompanys with righteous, it is like iron pieces accompanying magnet pieaces, all feel magnetism. Means of achieving the true purpose of a human being's life: 1=The very first means of achieving this goal is to recognize God Almighty correctly and to believe in the True God. Unto Him alone is the true prayer, as He has the power to do all things. 2=The second means is to be informed of the perfect beauty of God Almighty. 3=The third means of approach to God is knowledge of His beneficence. 4=The fourth means of achieving the true purpose of life appointed by God Almighty is supplication, as He has said: Call on Me, I shall respond to you [40:61] . 5= The fifth means of achieving the purpose of life appointed by God Almighty, is striving in His cause. 6=The sixth means of achieving this purpose has been described as steadfastness. 7=The seventh means of achieving the purpose of life is to keep company with the righteous, and to observe their perfect example. One of the needs for the advent of prophets is that man naturally desires a perfect example, and such an example fosters zeal and promotes high resolve..... This is indicated by Allah, the Glorious, in the verse: Keep company with the righteous [9:119]; and in the verse: Guide us along the path of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed Thy favors [1:7]. 8=The eighth means of achieving the purpose of life are visions and true dreams and revelation. As the path that leads to God Almighty is a difficult one......it is possible that a person might go astray while treading along this unfamiliar path and might begin to despair and stop going forward, the mercy of God desires to keep comforting him and encouraging him....... So it is His way that from time to time He comforts such people with His word and His revelation and makes it manifest to them that He is with them. Thus they are strengthened and go forward eagerly on this journey. He has said: For them there are glad tidings in this life and in the hereafter [10:65]. as explained by blessed promised refomer: w.alislam.org/library/links/3-70.html Re: Hospitality - U.K. convention 25 July. - Terry - 07-25-2008 don't you think that religion and the mind towards religion made the human progress less developed? Re: Hospitality - U.K. convention 25 July. - HafizAzizRafiq - 07-27-2008 Peace! True! Religion in its early time guides but in latter time when either text is changed or misinterpreted to suit low desires of unpious plays havoc. Remember poor Galileo withdrawing his words ! and now wide spread atheism is current outcome. When religion does not answer questions, after a while people desert God too. In the second type, for religion whose book is intact, but misinterpretaion is applied, the peaceful-religion is percieved as nursery of terrorism. But! Voice of Ahmadiyya is promised reformation. Not many can do that, and consequently not many have results. You see, people want instant and concrete results from anything they do. Re: Hospitality - U.K. convention 25 July. - HafizAzizRafiq - 07-28-2008 Peace! For instant effects to start, lets start with focus from first prayer of Quran: 1..in the name of Allah(God), the Gracious, the Merciful. 2..all praise belongs to Allah, lord of all the worlds, 3..the Gracious, the Merciful, 4..Master of the day of judgment. 5..Thee alone do we worship and Thee alone do we implore for help. 6..guide us in the right path— 7..the path of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy blessings, those who have not incurred Thy displeasure, and those who have not gone asrtray. w.alislam.org Quran section Re: Hospitality - U.K. convention 25 July. - Benn - 07-31-2008 can you state the same arguments, but for the Christians?
