London: Maintenance administrator for luxury hotel company - EUjobs - 07-21-2008

Radisson Edwardian is a collection of luxury 4* and 5* hotels situated in Central London, Heathrow and Manchester. Our hotels have comfortable rooms you won't want to leave, atmospheric bars and restaurants with exceptional food and drink, and guest service that makes people feel special.
We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Technical Administrator to join our Central Maintenance Team and work with our Group Maintenance Manager. The position is essentially an administrative role that combines analytical, business and software skills.
The role will involve forming effective working relationships with our maintenance contractors, covering air conditioning, boilers, chillers, kitchen equipment, refrigeration and lifts. You shall be expected to arrange and chair meetings with our maintenance, finance, other departments, contractors and senior management. These meetings will often involve data collection, agenda preparation and releasing minutes with subject matter ranging from resolution of billing and service disputes with contractors to internal performance of our maintenance teams. Also you will ensure that the preventive maintenance visits by external contractors are carried out to plan and any service issue with contractors are dealt with quickly and effectively,
You shall be responsible for tracking to completion any regulatory compliance (insurance reports, Health and Safety) tasks that is needed by liaising between internal maintenance teams and external contractors.
You shall be managing, administering and enhancing the Maintenance Management System that has been rolled out throughout the group and work with the heads of central maintenance to generate reports, analyse customer complaints, and compare competitive quotes for products and services.
The ideal candidate for this role will be an effective communicator who is comfortable dealing with employees and managers at all levels of the organisation. An organised approach to work will be essential and a basic understanding of working within a busy maintenance department.
This role will be based in Central London, the salary for the position is £15,000 per annum
