London: School ict network technician - EUjobs - 07-23-2008 ICT Technician required to take on a varied IT support role in a Educational / school environment. You should have good PC Hardware and software knowledge gained from working in a predominately Windows based environment (Windows 2003 / XP) and have demonstrated experience of managing a server 2003 based network. On a day to day basis you will be providing PC and network related support and working on project issues. You will be assisting with software installs, PC upgrades and have general educational hardware and peripheral support knowledge. Previous experience of working in the education sector and supporting RM or Ranger networks and the SIMS operating system would be highly desirable, if not essential. Must be a good communicator and able to work on own initiative. No-Problem Technologies is based near Crystal Palace in SE London. A growing support business, it now requires an experienced ICT Technician who will be based primarily on one site, but who will also travel to other schools in the area to assist in their ICT maintenance. Salary between £20k - £25k per annum depending on experience. |
