London: Mobile maintenance engineer - EUjobs - 07-24-2008 The Role: A mobile maintenance engineer is required in this varied and interesting role. There is one main contract at a school where you would be based potentially 3 days a week, but would then be supporting other contracts during other days around the Newbury and Basingstoke areas. They ideally looking for someone who is multi skilled with an electrical bias, responsible for carrying out the daily maintenance and reactive tasks of various disciplines from handy man tasks to technical problems and including various statutory checks. You would have direct contact with the school and work closely with the school caretaker. This being the case each candidate would have to be fully CRB checked and have a friendly approachable with a professional attitude as you will be responsible for meeting and planning sub contractors when they attend site to carry out works and issue permits.
