London: Land drainage engineer - EUjobs - 08-05-2008

Our client is currently looking for a Land Drainage Engineer, who ideally is recently chartered or approaching 'chartered' status, to assist the Drainage Manager in implementing the Council's land drainage and drainage functions.
On a day-to-day basis you will manage and liase with contractors and consultants, the Environment Agency, professionals and the public and be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of a small team of officers. You will also participate in emergency response to flooding.
You will need previous design experience in drainage for a Consultancy, however our client is also will to look at cv's from those who have been involved in residential development type works.
Your CV will illustrate a previous track record of successful project management and delivery.
