Italy to build nuclear power stations - Benn - 05-22-2008 Italy averred it would begin building nuclear power stations to reduce dependence on oil and gas, scrapping a 1987 decision by referendum that rejected atomic energy. Oil becomes less and less popular because of its continuous price raise.
