iPhone 3G was reported to have serious security flaws - Nicholas - 08-31-2008 The new 3G Iphone was expected as one of the best gadgets of the year, but it turned to be one of its most disappointing. More gadget forums and experts reported that the security level of the new iPhone is practically missing. And when we think that most of us are using its wifi feature quite often, our credit card info or other sensitive data is an open source for hackers. :| Re: iPhone 3G was reported to have serious security flaws - Benn - 08-31-2008 that's pretty bad. I was thinking on buying an iphone when it just appeared (last year). But,I didn't, since I had not enough money. Now, this news makes me glad 'cause I can now make jokes on others who have this phone! Re: iPhone 3G was reported to have serious security flaws - Hakan G - 09-11-2008 No. As karl mentioned before, it is most probably that Apple will release and update for that software. Re: iPhone 3G was reported to have serious security flaws - Terry - 09-14-2008 oh, so it's all about software update? No hardware update? That disappoints. Re: iPhone 3G was reported to have serious security flaws - Hakan G - 09-14-2008 Apple released the software update, and the first feedbacks seem to be ok. Hardware is on a proper level, you should not be worry about it. Re: iPhone 3G was reported to have serious security flaws - Benn - 09-20-2008 That means we can simply buy the new software and update our iphones or special equipment is required? Re: iPhone 3G was reported to have serious security flaws - Hakan G - 09-27-2008 I think this update is freely available. Just search for the info on apple.com Re: iPhone 3G was reported to have serious security flaws - Terry - 10-31-2008 Iphone was surprised of the number of sales from the past few months, when the new 3G 16GB iphone was released.
