South-Africa - clearman - 05-24-2008 South-Africa: war and peace, blood and tears http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ScT41hmpzYA Re: South-Africa - Faw_Peter - 05-25-2008 South Africa has many problems, most polictical in origin at least, and most of those have a racial basis as well. At the moment most of the world's AIDS victims are to be found in sub-saharan africa and until recently the SA government were failing to even acknowledge a link between HIV and AIDS - so you can only imagine the impact that is already having on the population and what it will have in the years to come. Millions of South Africans will die. You must also consider "apartheid" and the regime that introduced and supported it. Essentially meaning that the country was divided along racial lines, and that the white supremacist leadership. There are enormous issues regarding lack of infrastructure and services in many poorer areas and essentially what South Arica is facing is the hardship of being a third-world country with a first world-economy....a very hard and rocky road. Re: South-Africa - Benn - 05-26-2008 President Thabo Mbeki admitted last night that South Africa had been "disgraced" by the wave of anti-foreigner violence which has convulsed the nation. Re: South-Africa - Salim - 05-28-2008 I don't have access to youtube here in Turkey? What is the movie about? is it about "Republic of South Africa" ? :oO Re: South-Africa - Steven - 05-29-2008 Salim Wrote:I don't have access to youtube here in Turkey?Yes salim, it's about the disorders persisting in that region. By the way, why do you happen not to have access to youtube in Turkey? Re: South-Africa - Benn - 06-18-2008 youtube in Turkey has been forbidden in March, 2007, by a court order. It was because there were "battles" between Turks and Greeks on youtube concerning politics, so the court decided to end this Re: South-Africa - M.Helen - 07-03-2008 Recently in an anti-immigrant attack - 62 people have been killed in South Africa. It's awful Re: South-Africa - M.Helen - 07-16-2008 Durban is one of the safest cities in South Africa. The level of crime here is much lower than in other cities/towns of South Africa. Re: South-Africa - Faw_Peter - 08-03-2008 I consider Nigeria a more dangerous country than the region of South Africa. Nigeria is full of terrorists and bandit groups who make attacks over their nationa almost everyday. Re: South-Africa - Steven - 08-06-2008 Especially nigerians are known as the most potential fruad makers in UK. They create fantom companies that allegedly offer cheap services and products, which, by the end, appears to be a fraud. Re: South-Africa - Hakan G - 08-06-2008 Salim Wrote:I don't have access to youtube here in Turkey? Use a proxy server, to connect to YouTube. If you don't know how to do that, just ask me. I’ll explain it to you, it's simple, you’ll see. Re: South-Africa - Steven - 08-08-2008 by not having youtube access, Turks are deprived of finding out much interesting information. Poor Turks Re: South-Africa - Nicholas - 09-27-2008 This is communism already Re: South-Africa - Martin - 12-25-2009 South Africa is faced with many challenges that are being dealt with by the government and foreign aid. Some of these problems are crime, corruption and poor rural infrastructure. These problems are growing day-to-day. Racial strife between the white minority and and the black majority has played a large part in the country's history and politics. Poverty, ignorance, isolation, deep-rooted traditional beliefs and rebellion against the authority under the apartheid forms the background of the problems of South Africa. |
