DO YOU BUILD ON YOUR FAILURE OR …? - euigorwithyou - 09-18-2008

You may state: “Nobody builds on his failure?”. But is it really so? Imagine a person who gave a good public talk. Nobody noticed that in one place he made an error, besides the person himself. He became so downhearted because of this error, that decided not to give the public talks anymore. Instead of building on his points of success, he started “to build his future” on the failure. Why not to do reversely? Try to find out just one successful or positive point in your talk and build on it vigorously?

The same is with us: if we can find just one point of success in what we do, let’s build on it! Overtime we will be amazed how big our progress became.

you're fully right. Still, our mistakes must not be avoided by us. Yes, it's important that we are optimist and concentrate on optimistic things, but mistakes must be corrected.

So a question appears here - what is better? to learn on our mistakes or on others' mistakes. You may say that the latter is the best solution. Yes, it is. However it doesn't offer 100% guarantee that you will avoid those mistakes. The fist solution is a more efficient one.

Everybody should find a balance for himself.
