London: Vb6 vb net winforms developer insurance claims proce - EUjobs - 11-06-2008
VB6 and VB.Net developer required to join a leading software company based in Bristol which makes insurance software for various clients.
To be considered for this position, you will need to have a solid background in VB6, and you will also need to have around 2 years VB.Net experience on winforms insurance applications. Ideally you will have knowledge or experience developing insurance claims modules, but any insurance experience is acceptable.
You will be working on a rather large migration project from VB6 to VB.Net (winforms). You will be migrating the core product and this is will be a rolling contract starting at either 1 or 3 months initially. There is some ASP.Net development work building new modules, but this forms a small part of the role.
