It was the most expensive transaction in Arsenal's history. The player will receive a salary of approximately 90,000 dollars per week. Arsenal seems to be maintaining its policy of buying only non-residents (not Englishmen) in the team. We'll look forward for new great results from this team. Re: Arshavin and his new team - Dima - 02-13-2009 Arshavin will NOT make his Arsenal debut against Cardiff City in the FA Cup. He is not eligible for this game. He can play in the FA Cup only in the next round, provided Arsenal defeats Cardiff. So, his debut is now postponed till Saturday 21 against Sunderland in the Premier League.
