And what will you do for money? - Faw_Peter - 03-15-2009

It's not a surprise for anybody that money rules the world. Those who have it, have the power in their hands. Following this thought, many are ready to do least expected things to gain money. Cases even reach deaths.

For example, in 1950-1960 two thirds of accidents in USA, after which people lost some parts of their body and became disabled, took place in California. A researcher of insurance frauds, John J. Healy, has revealed that the most of cases were not accidents at all. People intentionally injured themselves in order to receive big compensations.

Crazy, ain't it?

And what would you do for big money? Smile

I've never understood seriously people who do these extreme things for money. Money can't bring you happiness if you, for example, have lost the leg. It's not life anymore.

When I was at University, students could make money by taking part in medical trials. You could make around £10 for trialling a new cold remedy for a week. I think it was around £1000 to have a finger or toe removed. And quite a lot of money to have your heart stopped temporarily!

I have also heard of people selling their kidney to make money - you can make thousands of pounds. I think it is only legal in certain countries. But it is a risky operation, and if anything goes wrong with your other kidney, you are in trouble

Many young stupid girls intentionally get in car accidents with rich guys. They may become disabled, but instead they expect the guy to maintain them for the rest of their lives. Stupid? Just for ordinary people.

waw! I love money as well, but I'd never do what those girls did. I pretty and self-respecting girl will find other, natural ways for attracting men and "extract" money. F.e. giving an innocent smile makes a man lose his mind, so you can use this chance and ask him to buy something for you Wink

Hmmm, money for life or life for money :quoi First you should answer this question and if you are firm in your answer, your mind will lead you on the correct way. People who spend the life for earning money are unhappy, neither I can call happy the ones who earn money for life. So it must be a balance.

hmm... difiicult question. I should say it depends on the amount :-)
What I do is simply caring after myself and it's more than enough to receive much much attention, accompanied of course by solid gifts. I like it, but I am warning that I will feel no commitment for the person who gave to me, if I accept the gift.

Well I'm ready to work as a cleaner in Bill Gate's house, I'm ready to dust, make his bad, prepare his dinner... I'm sure an average cleaner in his house recieves as much as an average worker in AIG, or an EU parliament deputy Smile

People can lose all their money for earning big moeny and in long run they get nothing. It's greed, and this greed must be removed from our spiritual thinking. Gambling leaves people alone watching the face of their broken fate.

Honestly, I have my own principle, and I won't beg or do anything that against laws, no matter how broke I am. Well, you might say I'm a stupid guy, but this is what I am... Smile

Well the pope doesn't have money and he has a huge amount of power... so do presidents and royalty... so it's not always money that gives you power.

I would work hard for money, nothing more. You should always live within your means and there are always ways of making money.

Many high-flying business women have lost their jobs over the last year - and are becoming strippers!

The "jiggle bars" in New York have seen a huge rise in the number of professional women taking new careers as pole dancers. One woman was quoted as saying that the pay was better, she enjoyed the flexible hours, and she got less sexual harrassment!

Re: And what will you do for money? - Steven - 06-29-2009

To earn money, I will only work hard, no more. I despise those those people who are ready to sell their mother for them, or to sell their body. That's awful to see how people are greedy, they want more and more, even if they have enough. Money is not the most important thing in life.

Usually those who work hard for every penny those never win more than a fair wage. Nobody from rich people earn money honestly. Of course no one admits, but it is so. However it is deception, lies, betrayal, etc.. for them anyway it is called business so everything is ok. And work hard it does not mean that some day you will have enough,or even necessary.
