London: Part qualified accountant acca cima - EUjobs - 06-06-2008 Part Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA) This role for a part qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA) is working within an exceptionally high profile organsiation offering 25 days holiday, money purchase pension and a 9.30 to 5.30 working week, although hours can be more flexible based upon coverage within the office. As a Part Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA) you must still be studying. Main Purpose of the Role As a part qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA) the role holder to ensure that the month end process is completed accurately, on time and to expectations. Working closely with the other teams in the Accounting Centre and the Commercial Finance Manager they are responsible for ensuring that all balance sheet accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis with particular emphasis on capital expenditure and cash reporting. (i) Responsible for the production of the monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and work closely with the other teams in the Accounting Centre, ensuring that all balance sheet accounts are produced and reconciled on a monthly basis (ii) Working with the Management Accountants to develop a close working relationship that ensures the month end processes run smoothly & efficiently (iii) Ensure that bank reconciliations are prepared on a timely basis and that all correcting entries have been posted and ensure management of the capital expenditure process for all sites, ensuring that the status and costs of all projects are clear thus ensuring that the asset register is correctly maintained and depreciation is run on a timely basis. (iv) Production of management reports and analysis as required. (v) Identify and implement improvements in financial controls and processes.
