Cloud servers are usually less expensive than dedicated servers especially when you consider the lower entry cost. As your company grows, you might need more resources. That is where cloud servers struggle to scale. You will have to pay on a monthly basis with a cloud server, but dedicated servers charge you on a yearly and monthly basis. If you want a permanent solution, I recommend that you go for the affordable dedicated servers.

I believe, it is not. Although, everything depends on where you use a particular server.
