Commitment - gemma - 12-01-2009 Is there a problem with people who doesn't want to commit, hates contracts and hates promises? I mean is it pathological or psychological, anyone? Re: Commitment - aimhigh - 12-02-2009 I don't know if it has a psychological effect or what. But I am the kind of person who doesn't want any promises. I hate promises. Re: Commitment - Big_Becka - 12-04-2009 I think most men I know have this problem  Maybe it's bad experience. Or maybe they just know they won't keep the promise! Re: Commitment - Steven - 12-07-2009 gemma Wrote:Is there a problem with people who doesn't want to commit, hates contracts and hates promises? promising means .... get a commitment, to be responsible in front of someone ... but people tend to avoid responsibility, being more selfish or more realistic, understanding that it's difficult for them to fulfill that promise ... and instead to promise they respond " I will do everything possible" It is not pathological....but psychological! Re: Commitment - Laurentine - 12-09-2009 People don't want to commit because they aviod responsibility, everybody wants to preserve their own freedom. I think it is psychological problem. There are a lot of selfish people, who don't want even to think about somebody else, but be responsible for somebody is an incredible task for them. Many people live in their own little world and don't let anybody inside. It is awful. People just open your mind, heart and look around, don't be afraid. Re: Commitment - Faw_Peter - 12-09-2009 problem is not in the make the promises, but to meet the promise. Not always you can keep your word, and that means that you will disappoint someone by failure promise. That's why many do not promise. I, better not promise .. but do it! uper |
