How to deactivate World of Warcraft account? - Miriel - 01-25-2011
I bought the game last month and have been playing the first month free trial since then. I'm starting school next week, so I won't be able to play. How do I temporarily deactivate my account? I don't want to be charged, when I will hardly ever get to play it. Please give me step by step instructions.
My subscription is set to monthly. When I first activated the account, I chose to pay through my Visa debit card. I dont want $15 to be taken from my bank account every month even when I'm not playing.

Depending on how you set your charging plan, the period is either monthly, biannually, or annually. The charge is sent at the end of the set period. If you don't play at all during the period, you wont be charged.
For your case, i advise changing the setting to monthly, if temporarily.
You will only be charged for months that you play.

if you stop to pay through the Visa debit card, your account will be stop temporarily till you buy a month game card ,
