How do I go about finding a summer job in France? - Tarondor-of-Gondor - 01-25-2011 I am a first year college student with an intended major in Social Work and minors in both French and Computer Science. Next spring I will be studying abroad in France but would like to find some kind of job that would allow me to stay there the following summer. Where can I find a job? I've searched the most popular career sites but haven't found anything yet. I'd even be happy with a nannying job. Any help would be appreciated! :-) Thanks. Re: How do I go about finding a summer job in France? - Lou - 01-25-2011 You might look at the study abroad program you are working with as they may be the best bet of finding a job. Most of the Nanny placement companies place from Europe to here, but it is possible they will do placement the other direction, or they will know of resources. You might look at being a camp counselor in an international camp (you don't give your age and this may be an issue) but you can look at American Camping Association. I would also talk to the faculty in the social work dept. and see if they have any connections in international social work (you might be able to do a field placement of sorts). DA |
