Our client is a media specialist that handles licensing and royalties for programming and merchandise, and currently are looking for a Royalties Accountant to assist and fulfil with all royalty commitments.
You will have previously worked within a similar environment for a minimum of 2 years with excellent attention to detail and sound written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities:
* Take responsibility for all third party royalty reporting
* Ensure contractually accurate preparation of producer/rights owners quarterly statements
* Liaise with legal team to ensure full understanding of contracts
* Monitoring progress of properties to ensure accurate tracking and communication of recoupment position
* Maintaining a detailed timetable of reporting responsibilities
* Dealing with initial queries from producers/rights owners
* Monitoring of third party approvals with compliance from divisions in particular in relation to allowable costs
* Monitoring of third party funded technical costs and reporting thereof
* Ensuring completeness of data included within royalty reports
* Collating and processing of inter-group transfer pricing in conjunction with Corporate Treasurer and Classic Media Royalty Accountant
* Monthly property margin review with management accounts team
* Review of recoupable costs to ensure applicable items are treated correctly
