Mechanical engineer job opportunity in Germany? - Estel - 01-26-2011

How easy is it to get a job as a mechanical engineer in Germany? Is there a website for German job opportunities? The internet has jobs only in other countries, but not in Germany. Can someone refer me to a website for jobs in Germany only? please do...

Also, how easy is it to get the visa? and what are the papers that you need to have? I am Arabian, if this makes any difference. And yes, I am learning German (level 3 now).

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Unless you are an EU citizen not easy at all you need a resident permit work visa and be aware you need to speak German to get a decent job.

The EU regulations are every employer has to prove no German or other EU citizen wanted to have the job he is hiring you for which is very unlikely to happen.

I join the official site of German Immigrations.

To search for jobs you can do on the site of Arbeitsagentur.

EDIT
If you apply for a student visa and get a German degree after finishing your studies you have a six month delay to find a job if you get a job in these six months you can stay as a legal resident that might be your best bet.
