Allah, the Creator, the Maker, the Fashioner teaches Freeing of Slaves and Lifting the Fallen Ones. - HafizAzizRafiq - 11-30-2011
Peace be on you....Allah says: He is Allah, the Creator, the Maker, the Fashioner.(Holy Quran, chapter 59: words from verse 25). And He has granted perfect divine teachings which ensures the freedom of a person. Freedom from slavery and freedom of religion and freedom of conscience are great blessings. One of the aims of Prophets of God is to free people from bondages by teaching them the commandments of God. When people remain slaves for long times, they loose certain qualities and become imbalanced. The Holy Quran lifts the fallen people and warns the oppressors.
The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) liberated the people from the clutches of tyrants who had made people slaves on the names of illusions, idols and customs. Holy Quran clearly teaches against slavery e.g.(ch 2: v 178) and ( ch 90:v 14). The Holy Prophet and his Companions were always eager to free the slaves and they set shining examples in this regard.
But in these days when muslims are showing weakness at many fronts. Many of their rulers, governments and religious leaders are making their own people slaves to fulfill their personal agendas. Problems are increasing and individuals and countries are suffering.
The continued revival and uplift of faith (through an ardent devotee, the Mahdi Mesiah) was foretold by the Allah and Holy Prophet . This revival includes abolishing slaveries and lifting the fallens one up.
