Favorite Movie - Hardy - 06-14-2008 What is your favorite movie and why? Are Europeans movies better/worse than US movies? :geek: My favorite movies is "American Beauty" Re: Favorite Movie - Faw_Peter - 06-14-2008 My favourite movie is "Terminator 2". You can laugh, but when it appeared (1991) I was a teenager and it was SOMETHING for me. Special effects, actors etc.... it was the movie of the year. Re: Favorite Movie - Benn - 06-14-2008 American movies are made "nicer" in the matter of special effects, but also the scripts are better. At movie production, I would definetely say that USA is the best. European producers can't compete with them Re: Favorite Movie - lile_lile - 06-16-2008 ''Love Actually'' This is my favourite Movie... ''A Walk To Remember''... But now as for most recent month, i Like''Transfrmers'' and many others as well, i watch new movies almost every day so i have many and many favourite movies.. Re: Favorite Movie - clearman - 06-16-2008 Guys, I recently discovered the excellent spaghetti-western(although they were made with small budgets in Italy 70's, were better than the American western). We recommend the dollars trilogy with Clint Eastwood on the music of Ennio Morricone. <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xj0gJTGL93Q&feature=related">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xj0gJTGL ... re=related</a><!-- m --> Re: Favorite Movie - lile_lile - 06-16-2008 is that ''Good, Bad, worst?'' or smth like that, i think i've seen it Re: Favorite Movie - lile_lile - 06-16-2008 ou yeah, i just saw on youtube, it's ""The good, The bad and The Ungly'' good movie.. indeed Re: Favorite Movie - Benn - 06-17-2008 but, just remember that there are not many (at least not more) Americans actors in Hollywood. Most of them are from or have been discovered in Europe. It's just that Americans are cleverer cause they know how to use them, and maybe movie budgets are much bigger Re: Favorite Movie - ianne_27 - 06-17-2008 armageddon..i love it really...and it always made me cry... Re: Favorite Movie - Hardy - 06-17-2008 ianne_27 Wrote:armageddon..i love it really...and it always made me cry...Armageddon? :? What about Titanic? uper Re: Favorite Movie - Terry - 06-17-2008 oh, what a sad note here "Titanic", "Armageddon", yoy are being very pesimistic. Why don't you mention a comedy, my favorite is "Dumb and dumber". Yes it's old, but good movies are good forever, Re: Favorite Movie - Faw_Peter - 06-17-2008 why pesimistic? On the contrary, "Armageddon" has a happy end! People survived, that's important, of course not to mention that Bruce Willis died Re: Favorite Movie - Steven - 06-23-2008 When I watched the movie "300 Spartans" I understood I'm gonna like it for a long time. And it's true - it's a combination of special effects and true history + a computerized background. The script (based on historical events) is very good cause it's unpredictable. Re: Favorite Movie - M.Helen - 06-24-2008 My favourite is "Unfaithful". A movie about a woman who found a lover and in the end her husband killed the guy. Very sad weat Re: Favorite Movie - Benn - 07-01-2008 hey you can consider me girlish, but I recently watched the movie "Sex and the city" and I liked it I usually don't like happy end movies, but I did like this one. Recommend to everybody - wathc it. Re: Favorite Movie - M.Helen - 07-03-2008 yes, I saw that movie too, I liked it. It's strange you liked it, it's really girlish. What I learned from it is that a girl should be independent. Re: Favorite Movie - Peach - 06-29-2009 I think European Movies are better than the American ones> American movies are stupid, especially how they call them comedies, but, there are also exceptions. Personally I liked The Pirates of the Caribbean and the Lord of the Rings. Re: Favorite Movie - Nathan - 06-29-2009 Quote:I think European Movies are better than the American ones>I agree with you Peach. European movies are really more interesting than the American ones. All the American films are just about the same - how they save our planet, or just about the sex. That becomes boring. Re: Favorite Movie - Lorry - 12-17-2009 My favorite movies are those with Jim Carrey, a very positive and talented actor. His movies are so funny and interesting that I'm sure that I'm not the only one who loves him and his films very much. He is a professional in his domain and that's why he has so many prizes. RE: Favorite Movie - BillShiphr - 10-30-2020 I think that my favorite movie is Harry Potter. I like all the parts, it is an incredible story! RE: Favorite Movie - GooseWashington - 10-30-2020 Good afternoon! I like Sam Mendes’s «American Beauty». I also like his «Revolutionary Road» with Leonardo Dicaprio and Kate Winslet, I love their couple since «Titanic», they are both so talented! I wish I would be a movie specialist but I have just recently started watching them every weekend. I’ve bought the best AV receiver that pleases me and I do not have to look for a high-quality movie with a good sound for hours. I recommend you to check this out, maybe you are interested in it, too. |
